Travelling through the galaxy as usual, the now fully grown Kekoath appeared above Kilandaia. It was night because he could only use the stars as seen from the planet's surface as reference points. His copper skin hardly shone in the moonlight. A dry warm wind swept across the sky, blowing with it dry leaves and pollen.
Kekoath looked around and saw that he was flying above grassy plains. As far as his eyes could see there was nothing else but grass and the occasional bush. After the last icy planet, this warm climate was welcome though.
So far Kekoath had visited over 50 worlds and still he hadn't found his bond. But he was not (yet) dispairing. During his travels he'd seen plenty. He'd met a boatload of people, dragons and animals he'd never seen and never even dreamed about before. On one of the worlds he'd yet to visit he'd find the one that was right for him.
Gently gliding down to land, Kekoath wondered where the dragons that he'd been told about were. As far as he could tell there were no signs of civilization around. Where did they live? Wondering if maybe getting sidetracked from his journey to visit this planet had been a mistake. After all he'd come here just because he'd heard that something unusual was about to happen. That something unusual could be a vulcanic explosion or a tidal wave.
Shaking the dark thoughts away from his mind kekoath decided that he was too tired to think logical. Kilandaia had been closeby. It wasn't that weird a stop to make. Surely he'd find some locals during the day. Yawning he spread out on the ground and closed his eyes.

Kekoath ventured to Kilandaia to find his bond.
